Tabitha's Hands Quilting Ministry

Tabitha’s Hands mission is to provide a tangible gift demonstrating the Lord’s intangible love to those in need. Members sew handmade quilted throws and cover each in prayer. The quilts are then given to members of our congregation, their immediate family, and missionaries who are ill, distressed, in mourning, or in need of encouragement. Do you have basic sewing skills or the desire to learn? Have you wanted to find a way to serve the Lord using the creative talents that He has given you? If you have asked yourself this questions, then prayerfully consider joining Tabitha’s Hands. Levels of service include: quilters, quilt finishers, and prayer partners.

Tabitha’s Hands Quilting Bees
Most months Tabitha’s Hands hosts a Quilting Bee. Each “bee” is scheduled on a Saturday from 9am-4pm. This is the time for us to encourage one another, help each other with quilting projects, learn
new skills, and pray for one another, our ministry, our church, and our church body. People attend a quilting bee to meet other members and find out more about the skills needed to serve in the ministry. We are happy to train anyone eager to serve. It is easier than it looks! “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
(Galatians 6:10)
