Young Adults Ministry

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
—Colossians 2:6-7 (NKJV)

The Young Adults Ministry at Reverence (affectionately known as YAM) is rooted and grounded in Christ, the living Word of God. We seek to emulate Him in all aspects of our life, as we are commanded to. The goal of the ministry is to equip those who are entering a world that is filled with those who despise Christ with the Gospel. Through biblical exposition, fellowship, and prayer, YAM is deliberate in providing a place for college students and young professionals to discuss and learn about the Scriptures and Who they point to.

Bible Study
We begin each night with an expositional, verse-by-verse study of Scripture. This is then followed by a time of discussion and prayer. Finally, we end the night with food and fellowship.

Ministry
We encourage all those who come to YAM to be involved in their church. This does not just mean attending Sunday service or meeting on Saturday nights. God has given us each a unique set of gifts. And so, our goal is to help those who attend to find a ministry within the church that they can become involved with, whether it be helping with sound or handing out programs at the sanctuary doors.
